Eddie Postell is the Division Manager of the Office of Small Business Advocacy (OSBA). OSBA is a department within the Business Development Division at the Alabama Department of Commerce. Eddie is a Senior Project Manager with over twenty years of state government related economic development experience. He is a graduate of Alabama State University.

Dr. Mark Heinrich was the unanimous choice by the nine-member State Board of Education to become the next chancellor of the Alabama Community College System on September 21, 2012. Heinrich holds a doctorate in counseling from The University of Alabama, and earned B.S. and M.A. degrees in psychology from Tennessee Tech University. During the time he was completing his graduate degree at The University of Alabama, Heinrich served on Coach Paul Bear Bryant’s staff as an academic counselor and tennis coach.

Governor Robert Bentley appointed Julie Prendergast Magee, former vice-president of the Mobile-based InsTrust Insurance Group, to the post of State Revenue Commissioner, effective January 18, 2011. Mrs. Magee’s career, spanning over 20 years in the business community, largely focused on competitive sales and market expansion in the insurance industry. A resident of Mobile, Alabama, Mrs. Magee received a B.A. degree from the University of South Alabama in 1991. Mrs. Magee is married to Don Magee, and they have one daughter, Meredith.
