The town of Trafford is located in northern Jefferson County and southern Blount County in the central part of Alabama. The majority of the town lies in Jefferson County. Local roads provide the town’s 640 residents access to nearby Interstate Highway 65, five miles west of town, and State Highway 160, located five miles north of town.
