town of Myrtlewood

Welcome to the town of Myrtlewood

The town of Myrtlewood is located in Marengo County in west-central Alabama. Home to just over 120 residents today, Myrtlewood is named after a grove of crepe myrtle trees that grew near the town during its incorporation in 1957. The town encompasses 2.6 square miles and is served by State Highways 69 and 114 and a rail line owned by The Meridian & Bigbee Railroad.
