The town of McIntosh is located in Washington County in the southwest corner of Alabama. With just over 200 residents, McIntosh has a thriving economy based on timber, the turpentine industry, and a nearby natural salt dome. The town is situated on the fertile banks of the Tombigbee River and provides access to water sports, such as boating and fishing.
