The town of Harpersville is located in Shelby County in central Alabama, bordered on the south by the Coosa River. With over 1,600 residents, Harpersville encompasses nearly 16 square miles along U.S. Highway 280. The town offers a drive-in movie theatre, multiple agricultural-tourism opportunities, and the Harpersville Heritage Area – listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
