The city of Graysville is located in Jefferson County in central Alabama along U.S. Highway 78. Originally named “Gin Town” for housing one of the area’s only cotton gins, Graysville is home to over 2,000 residents today. The city spans 6.3 square miles and offers a community center and seven municipal parks.
