Florala is located in southern Covington County in south-central Alabama, on the Alabama-Florida line. Schools in Florala are part of the Covington County School System. Florala is home to just over 1,980 residents and the First National Bank of Florala listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage.
