Nicknamed "The City of Flowing Wells." Elba is the county seat of Coffee County; it is located at the juncture of Whitewater Creek and Pea River. The town was incorporated on April 13, 1853. Elba offers its almost 4,000 residents several outdoor recreational activities including golfing, swiming, and fishing.
