Known as the "River City," Decatur is located in northern Alabama along the Tennessee River and is the county seat of Morgan County. Its location on the Tennessee River allows locals and visitors to enjoy boating, fishing, and water skiing. The city of Decatur is home to Philip Rivers, starting quarterback for the San Diego Chargers. Decatur hosts the annual the Corn Day Festival and Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic.
