The town of Brookwood is located in Tuscaloosa County in west-central Alabama and is part of the Tuscaloosa metropolitan area. With over 1,800 residents, Brookwood is situated ten miles from the Black Warrior River along State Highway 216. The town boasts in its rural atmosphere and offers a municipal park and indoor community facility.
