Welcome to the town of Steele

The town of Steele is located in northeast St. Clair County in northeast Alabama. The town sponsors an all-day Fourth of July celebration with a fireworks show provided by the Steel fire department. It also supports a city park with a ball field. Just across Interstate 59 is the Alabama International Speedway dragstrip. Aquatic recreational activities are available at nearby Lake Neely Henry, a reservoir on the Coosa River.
