Coosada is located in the southwest corner of Elmore County in the east-central part of the state. Coosada is home to Gov. William Wyatt Bibb's gravesite, listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage. The annual Coosada Heritage Festival features arts and crafts vendors, a car show, live music, a children's play area, and concessions.
